Was yesterday July 4th? I seemed to have missed the holiday & it's always one of my favorites.
Oh well. I was a bit preoccupied.
39 riders came in yesterday, registered, & made it through tech inspection. A couple of minor glitches that have been worked out but nothing keeping all of them from riding.
This morning all the volunteers are working to get the last of the riders done. Rookie meeting at 4 followed by mandatory Rider meeting, cocktail hour, banquet and finally... after 2 years of planning, rally packs will be handed out.
David got a little sunburned standing in the "car park" all day but other than that, everyone here is in great shape.
